Actuator - standing
The experimental
apparatus is equipped with two rotary actuators that rotate the two foot
pedals upon which the subject stands.
The actuators are high pressure rotary actuators (Rotac 26R-2 1V) that
operate at a maximum pressure of 20684kPa (3000 PSI) and can generate
a maximum torque of 583.1Nm.

In the apparatus, each actuator is running at 2000 PSI.
The actuators may be run continuously. (Even at 3000 PSI, our torque levels
and bandwidth specifications do not impose an operating time limit on
the actuator.)
